Booking

Fill in the form on our contact page or call us. We'll set up a free 20-minute meet & greet at your home within a few days.

For regular walks, a week is usually enough. For holiday sitting and summer boarding, book at least a month ahead.

Yes, once you've done a meet & greet. Existing clients can add a single visit with 24 hours' notice.

Please let us know at least 24 hours ahead. Your walker plans their whole day around the route, so early notice really helps.

Safety & trust

Yes. We're licensed in the City of Portland, insured and bonded through Pet Care Insurance. Certificates are available on request.

Every team member has a background check, two references, previous professional experience with animals, and completes Pet First Aid & CPR before their first solo visit.

Keys are coded with a number, never your address, and kept in a locked box. Many clients use a lockbox or smart lock instead.

We call you first, then your emergency contact. If we can't reach anyone, we take your pet to your regular vet or to DoveLewis Emergency Hospital and stay until you arrive.

During visits

This is Portland, so yes. We shorten walks in heavy storms or extreme heat and swap in indoor play. Every dog gets toweled off after a wet walk.

Yes — that's what our solo walks are for. If your dog has a bite history, we'll talk it through honestly at the meet & greet.

Pills, liquids, eye drops, insulin and subcutaneous fluids. Our consulting vet trains the team on injections twice a year.

Dogs need rabies, DHPP and Bordetella. Cats need to be up to date on rabies. We'll ask for a copy from your vet.

Payment

We send one invoice at the start of each month for the previous month's visits. Card, ACH or Venmo are all fine. For a quote, just get in touch.

Never expected. Our team is paid a proper hourly wage. If you'd like to, there's an option on the invoice and 100% goes to your walker.
