Frequently asked

Do you work with aggressive or reactive dogs?

Reactive, yes — that's what our solo walks are for. If your dog has a bite history, we'll talk it through honestly at the meet & greet before agreeing to anything.

What vaccinations are required?

Dogs need rabies, DHPP and Bordetella. Cats only need to be up to date on rabies. We'll ask for a copy of the records from your vet.

What happens in an emergency?

We call you first, then your emergency contact. If we can't reach anyone, we take your pet to your regular vet or to DoveLewis Emergency Hospital, and we stay until you arrive.

How far in advance should I book?

For regular walks, a week is usually enough. For holiday sitting and summer boarding, book at least a month ahead — we do fill up.

Can I meet my walker before we start?

Always. The person who comes to the meet & greet is the person who'll be walking your dog.
